The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for The Salvation Army’s services in communities across the country. Since the start of the crisis, we’ve provided nearly 3.3 million food boxes, 1.5 million nights of shelter, and 10.3 million prepared meals. We’ve also provided spiritual and emotional support to more than 770,000 people who are struggling to make ends meet. This Christmas, the need for financial support, a Christmas meal, food for the family and gifts will be more significant than ever before.
